This industry has a significant role to play in protecting your home, business, health, food, and the environment. Pests take many forms and can pose a variety of threats.
World Pest Day
“World Pest Day” was initiated by the Chinese Pest Control Association, and co-sponsored by the Federation of Asian and Oceania Pest Managers’ Association (FAOPMA), the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), and the Confederation of European Pest Management Associations (CEPA).
The inaugural ceremony was held at the Beijing Hotel on June 6, 2017, with 300 guests, including members of the media, industry leaders and academia. World Pest Day 2018 took place on June 6 in Portugal, during the Global Summit of Pest Management Services for Public Health and Food Safety.
